stock 20 year old cats and it doesn't even register vacuum from the throttle body port vacuum to the EGR solenoid, which basically means it isn't even using it's EGR. On the other hand this NA can't pass smog (NOX only) even with new cats. I had to seriously adjust the passenger throttle body to open before the driver's so the vacuum gauge can register vacuum under EGR type load. Does anyone else find this strange? Is there any reason why the aftermarket cats (Magnaflow) suck so badly at removing NOX?
